Dear Parents,

I believe that 2019 will be the best year yet for Simi Valley Adventist School. I can feel the amazing future closing in our beloved school. Please continue in your prayers for the ever-present blessings that God has bestowed on us.

January finds us starting up our sole fundraiser for the year. READ A THON! We have several needs that the money from these funds could have an immediate impact on the students in the classroom. Things have changed with respect to the event. The build up remains the same but the event itself will only last ONE WEEK. That’s right we will be recording what the students read for a week and after that, it will be collection time. This should allow all of us to move on to the next big thing. Valentines Day, Robotics championships, and SPRING BREAK of course. We need your help. Please contact the school and have them connect you with Dana Yin our Read-A-Thon leader. She will need all of our support to have a successful time. Make this single event count, help out and make an impact.

Many parents ask, “What will I do this year to make my child’s education the best it can be.” Our parents have found one of many answers to that question, enroll them in Simi Valley Adventist School. With January in the new year comes the decision time for many families as to where they will want to educate their child in the coming year. I hope you keep an ear out to parents around you and share your feelings about your school with those who may still be looking for the best option for their child. I would love to add 15 to 20 new families for the coming 2019-2020 school year and with God’s blessing I know it can happen!

On page three you will find a flyer from the Simi Valley Adventist Church. Please take exceptional care to read it over. I took this class last year and I lowered my cholesterol level 70 points. It made a huge impact in my life and how I know eat for my future. It is run by very professional people and the lab work is done by an accredited lab. For the price, I don’t believe you will get anything close to this kind of program, anywhere. It is supported by the local Adventist Health Sim Valley Hospital. Please, if you or anyone of your family falls into the category of need- ing support or information to have a better and healthier life in 2019. Contact the church and get into this caring and wonderful program. It is held right here on campus and they feed you a wonderful meal each night. This pro- gram is only about health. But it is about converting your body into a healthier version.

I did it and I can not recommend it any higher.

In Gratitude,

Stephen Stokes
