Dear Parents,

I put February down and now it’s gone. I can’t find it anywhere. In fact, I am not sure where half of March is. If you see them please let me know. I really want those days. Whew. Where did it all go?

So, allow me to catch you up on what is left of March and the coming rush of 4th quarter that is hurdling toward us.

Simone Buttler with help from many of our families ran a beautiful Valentines Banquet. Several of you commented that you missed karaoke. Ok, we hear you and it will return next year!

We have had several great events run by our amazing staff. Mrs. Edwards had an ambitious 100 Day celebration. Ms. Dali led out in a week of mad –cap daily imagination called spirit week. Mrs. Baker will be the next up with our annual Field Day of Games on Thursday April 4. We will be sending out the color your child will wear soon. Spring break is from Wednesday, March 20 at 12:15. This is a vacation day getaway so our afterschool daycare only goes to 1:00! Please allow our staff to go to vacation.

We return on April 4.

On Monday, March 11, our Robotics team: Captain Ariella Hirsch(8), Chris Acosta(7), Seth Carpenter(7),

Hunter Yin(7) and Calvin Staubach(5) and coached by Steni Carpenter and Ken Hirsch went to the Adventist Regional Challenge as our SVAS representatives. (The moms were there too!) The students were AMAZING! So far we know they placed 10th in the robotics section and they fulfilled our highest expectations for a second year team. We will have a demonstration at our Academic Faire.

We still have our 6-8 San Francisco Trip, Our TK-K Bike-A-Thon, Projects and all the day to day work in class! Are you exhausted yet? Then again, there is Kindergarten and 8th grade Graduations.

I hope you are all looking forward to our Spring Program and Academic Faire! May 23 at 7:00 pm

Check out the second page photo! See you Thursday!

In Gratitude,

Stephen Stokes
