Dear Parents,

During each school year we have ups and downs. We try our best to stay calmly in the middle enjoying the ups and not getting to low by the down times. As we end the year, I think it is wise to ask ourselves, what can we do better next year. Self evaluation is so important. “The unexamined life is not worth living” is a famous dictum apparently uttered by Socrates at his trial. I too believe that our school has grown and ex- panded its abilities because we are open to change and flow with the needs of our constituents. Please re- member that my door, and the doors of our teachers, are always open to you and your thoughts on how we can improve. We will be examining the growth of your child as this year ends. Help us make this school continue to grow in God’s spirit and love. I would love to hear from each of you.

Now the NEWS:

I will be sending out a VERY IMPORTANT email with dates for year family to meet with our business manag- er Dean Vendouris. To get a completed registration, you must get his signature on your paper. Please look for those dates and sign up as soon as you can.
Don’t forget that the early bird special (150.00) on pre-registration ends MAY 31. All fees after that date go to the full $250.00

WE NEED HELP! We are looking for helpers for our Teacher Appreciation Day. Parents who would help in our classrooms and allow our teachers to have a day off to show our deep appreciation, let us know! Jonah’s Druthers is just one part of our spring program, we have a nice academic faire featuring SCIENCE and MATH this year. It’s a great time to invite guests to see our wonderful school.

Thanks to each of you who helped to make our Kindergarten Bike A Thon a GREAT SUCCESS!

Check Page THREE for information on the school Production of Jonah’s Druthers, MAY 23 at 7:30 PM. Check Page FOUR for a basic reminder of dates to the end of the year.

In Gratitude,

Stephen Stokes
